BS EN ISO:9001:2000
Is an International Standard that gives requirements for an organisation's Quality Management System (QMS)
The objective of (International Organisation for Standardisation) ISO 9001:2000 is to provide a set of requirements that, if they are effectively implemented:
- Will provide confidence that your supplier can consistently provide goods and services that meet your needs and expectations and comply with applicable regulations
- Provide product that meets customer regulatory requirements and enhances customer satisfaction through effective application of the system, including process for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
In achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification (originally in 1986), Truflo Marine has demonstrated to Third Party Auditors (in this case - Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited) that we have appropriate processes in place and under control.
The Company is audited by Lloyds every 6 months. Certificate renewal of the full QMS is carried out every three years.
Apart from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited Audit, Customers such as BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce Associates, Babcock Marine Devon Port, Royal Dockyard and the MOD also Audit Truflo Marine to ensure that we meet their requirements and are on their supplier approval list.
